Orientation

Pronunciation: /ˌɔr.i.ənˈteɪ.ʃən/ Explain

The orientation of a geometric object is the rotation of that object in a space. For example, the orientation of a line can be vertical, horizontal, or oblique. Some other phrases that show orientation are, "upside down", "on its side", "backwards", and "clockwise".
